At a cemetery closed to new burials since 1951, grave care can only concern an existing grave. Its location, condition, right of use and permitted scope of work must be clear before an enquiry is made.

Describe the position without estimating
Where possible, provide:
- the name on the monument and other names in a family grave,
- burial section, row and grave number,
- a current overall image and detailed photographs of the inscription,
- the usual entrance and useful landmarks along the route,
- a personal map pin only if you know the location from an on-site visit.
If this is insufficient, establish the location first through the grave search guidance and cemetery administration. The historical 1925 plan is not a present-day grave position.
Define the work
Distinguish between a one-off clean, removal of faded plants, seasonal planting, recurring care, memorial cleaning and photographic documentation. State who selects, removes and pays for materials and the intended period of work.
